Affiliate Program Terms

1. Overview

These terms govern your participation in the Oppalin Affiliate Program ("Program"). By applying, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be a resident of a country where Stripe Connect Express payouts are supported.
Oppalin employees and contractors are not eligible.
Each person may hold only one affiliate account.

3. How it works

When someone signs up and subscribes to Oppalin using your unique referral link, they receive a discount on their subscription. You earn a commission on the net revenue Oppalin receives from that customer.

4. Commission

Rate: 20% of net subscription revenue (after refunds and chargebacks).
Duration: Commissions are earned on the first 12 months of each referred customer's paid subscription. Charges after month 12 do not generate commission.
Currency: USD.

5. Minimum payout threshold

Commissions below $25 in a given month roll over to the next month. No commission is forfeited — it accumulates until the threshold is reached.

6. Payout schedule

Payouts are processed on or around the 1st of each month for the prior month's commissions. Funds arrive in your connected bank account within a few business days per Stripe's schedule.

7. Refunds and chargebacks

Commissions are calculated on net revenue. If a referred customer receives a full or partial refund, the corresponding commission is deducted from your next payout. If a chargeback occurs, the full commission on that charge is reversed.

8. Self-referral prohibition

You may not use your own referral code to purchase an Oppalin subscription. Self-referrals are detected automatically and rejected.

9. Receiving payouts

Payouts are made via Stripe Express. You must complete Stripe's identity verification and provide banking details through the Connect onboarding flow in your affiliate dashboard. Stripe may collect tax forms (W-9 for US residents, W-8BEN for others) and issue 1099-NEC forms where required by law. Oppalin does not store your banking information.

10. Prohibited conduct

Spam, unsolicited messaging, or bulk email to acquire referrals.
Paid search advertising using Oppalin trademarks as keywords.
False or misleading claims about Oppalin's product or pricing.
Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or any other fraudulent attribution method.
Creating multiple affiliate accounts.

11. Country eligibility

Payouts require a bank account in a country supported by Stripe Connect Express. You can verify your country's eligibility at stripe.com/global. You can still share referral links from any country; payout capability depends on Connect support.

12. Termination

Oppalin may suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Accrued commissions on legitimate referrals will be paid out per the normal schedule unless prohibited by law or terms violation.

13. Modification

Oppalin may update these terms with notice via email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
